In my art, I try to re-create moments in nature or humanity that I find beautiful.
A quirk of my character is to notice the details in everything. I am determined to capture these details in my paintings--colors, patterns, and contrasts of light.
To achieve a realistic look, I use layers of watercolors rather than a wet-in-wet technique. I usually opt for control rather than allowing the paint to flow. This makes my paintings look a little different from typical watercolors. With my realistic style, I hope to help others see the details they may miss by simply looking at a photograph.
