A wood artist focused primarily on turned objects using a lathe. He is also a technology enthusiast who enjoys blending traditional hand crafting techniques with modern technologies such as laser engravers, 3D Printers and Computer Controlled CNC routers. He believes that creativity can be expressed through technology in addition to more traditional artistic mediums. That said, adding hand crafted elements makes each piece truly unique.
Brad graduated from Washington State University in 1991 with a degree in Communications. He has worked for the US government as a contract manager and program manager for web development for over 30 years. You will note this has absolutely nothing to do with art! Working with wood and tinkering have been lifelong hobbies. He discovered woodturning around 2014 and was immediately hooked. Soon after he began selling his work both online and at local events. Being part of a gallery is a natural evolution and an exciting opportunity to share his creative expression with others.
